Today is Fathers Day which inevitably leads me to consider parenthood in general. My thoughts were particularly lead this morning toward a friend who is a single mother, she fulfils the needs of her children with fierce love and I admire her. I wanted her to know so, the words came into my mind that she was both anchor and breeze.
After further thinking I felt that I could claim that too. In motherhood I aim to be both a steadying influence as well as the breeze for my children to turn into, set their sail and feel empowered. Both anchor and breeze.
